"Sport Distance Calculator" allows you to calculate the distance and topography of routes made for sport, carried on foot, bike or rollerblading.

To calculate the distance of a route: Start by positioning the map by entering your address or directly on the map, adjust the zoom level, then simply add the points of your route on the map by clicking on it. The distance between last two points and the total distance of the route are calculated under the map.

- It is also possible to calculate your average speed and your average time per mile (or per kilometer), by entering the time carried out on the route or conversely, it is possible to calculate the time needed to complete the route with your average speed.

- An estimate of your expenditure in calories (for running, cycling and rollerblading) and of your VO2max/vVO2max (for running only) is available at down of the page.

- After clicking on the button "Altitude", you can calculate the topography of the route and export your trace in differing file formats. You can also import GPX or TCX files.

To save a route, click on "Save this route!" after placing the points of your route on the map (and perform calculations if necessary).
Once saved, a route can be displayed by all.(info)You will reach another page where you will have to provide various information on the route.

The method used is the pedestrian mode without using hightways (do not wish to sense movement).

To leave the road, use the other edit mode (left mouse button).
