Shingletown Red-White Loop - 26404

Nice, relaxing jaunt to avoid the maddening crowds. Very scenic bench traversed by the red/white trail and back via Lower trail.

Shingletown-Mid State-Sand Spring loop - 26403

Steep ascent to Mid State Trail via Blue and Deer trails, with an extremely rocky traverse along the Mid State Trail to Sand Spring trail for moderately steep descent back into Shingletown Gap trail. Great loop for an afternoon. Roman Tower ruins are worth a side jaunt.
